PestiDev ("the Service") is a free job-watching site run by a private individual. By using the Service you accept the terms below. Data handling is covered by a separate privacy policy.
The Service collects public listings from Hungarian job boards and company career pages into one place, narrowed to internship, junior and medior IT roles. The large majority of the listings come from third parties: the Service does not present them as its own, each card links through to the original ad, and the advertiser is responsible for the ad's content. The Service is free, and no guarantee of continuous or error-free operation is given.
The Service is run on a non-profit basis, is completely free to use, and is built as a search engine. Its purpose is not to make a profit but to make job searching simpler and to direct traffic: it sends visitors on to the original advertisers' pages rather than taking their traffic away. Every card links through to the original ad, and the Service is not meant to replace the ads it points to. The ads shown on the site only cover the running costs. Among the ads it collects from other sites, it highlights none, and it does not hide any ad because of its original content or who posted it; it only filters out ads that are unlawful, spam or duplicates. Ads posted directly by companies on the Service may be highlighted, and the same filtering rules apply to them.
The Service's own text, the structure and narrowing of the listing, the statistics and the postings submitted here are protected by copyright and by database rights held by the operator. For your own job search you are free to browse the Service, mark, save and share postings, and link to any of its pages.
Commercial or bulk extraction (scraping), copying, republication, resale or incorporation into another service of the Service's content — in particular the listing, the statistics, and the whole or a substantial part of the database — is prohibited without the operator's permission. The prohibition applies equally to AI agents and automated clients performing bulk downloads.
Search engine and AI answer-engine crawlers are explicitly welcome. /robots.txt states what they may fetch, and /llms.txt describes in prose what is on the site. That permission covers indexing, citation and training — it does not cover downloading, storing and re-serving the listing or the statistics as a dataset.
There is deliberately no public JSON API and no bulk export. If you need machine access, its terms are on the API / MCP page. Regular automated ingestion without permission — a daily cron writing the whole list into your own database, for example — is not allowed. The Service applies rate limiting and may block automated clients that ignore the prohibitions in robots.txt.
If a company or advertiser disagrees with its ads being collected and shown on the Service, it can email the operator at the address below. The same day, the operator removes that source, all earlier ads from it and any other data stored about it, and stops collecting from it.
In a dispute, the Service always respects the other party's request and complies with it.

An abusive account may be suspended without prior warning. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time at the address below.
Employers can post a Budapest IT job (internship, junior, medior) for free on the For companies page. The advertiser is responsible for the details being accurate, the role being genuinely open, and the ad containing nothing unlawful or discriminatory. Every posting is reviewed by hand; the operator may reject or later remove any posting without giving reasons, and uses the contact details given solely for that review.
No guarantee is given as to the accuracy, currency or availability of the listings: they come from third-party sites and may expire or change at any time. Applications go to the original advertiser; the operator is not a party to the application or to any later employment, and does not act as an intermediary. You use the Service at your own risk, and the operator excludes liability for damages arising from its use to the extent permitted by law.
These terms may be changed at any time; the date of the last change is shown at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the changed terms. Hungarian law applies.
